Help your child have fun with maths!

The best way for young children to acquire mathematical skills is through solving practical problems for themselves. Parents can help by joining in and encouraging children to think creatively.

Action Maths offers a wide range of stimulating activities designed by teachers to encourage children to create and enjoy their own games and puzzles, and solve problems at the same time. While using various craft skills, children will encounter basic maths concepts, such as sorting, ordering, matching, counting, estimating and appraising. 

All of the projects have been devised with the UK National Curriculum in mind.
